This course is the first part of a series that offers a structured progressive syllabus course designed to give you a three-year professional training program so as to take you from 'Day 1 to Mastery' in Kizomba (Fusion).

Dance Kizomba | Day 1 to Mastery: This is a 1 year Beginners course for Kizomba and this course has 36 videos.

It is recommended that you learn one step per week for the first three weeks of the month and practise all the steps in the fourth week and share a video of yours to receive constructive feedback.

Practice is the way to go for this course and it helps to go back a few steps, taking a break from learning more moves. Instead, you should spend more time revising the steps you have already learnt.

Aditya Upadhya

Aditya Upadhya (Adi U) is one of India’s pioneers in Afro-Latin dancing. He has been a professional dancer since 2003 and founded his school, Vive la Salsa in 2005.

Trained by Kaytee (Salsa and Bachata), Maykel Fonts (Afro and Rumba), and Nelson Campos (Kizomba), among other world-renowned teachers, he has been spreading his love for Salsa, Bachata, Afro-Cuban folkloric dances, and now Kizomba at various congresses around Asia since 2006.

He has also been trained in Jazz, Contemporary, Indian Classical, Tango; hence his technique, choreographies and style are unique and influenced by many dances of different disciplines.

Around Asia, Aditya has been invited to teach and perform at various congresses and has received standing ovations for his shows both nationally and internationally.

Aditya is looked up to as a mentor by many Latin dancers and his style has inspired many dance companies around the world, which is seen in their shows and social dancing too.

Currently, he is working on launching 3-year online syllabus courses for dances like Salsa and Afro Cuban, Bachata, and Kizomba.
